What is
PADEL?
Padel is one of the most addictive games ever created!
It is a racket sport that combines elements of tennis, squash and badminton and is played by over 10 million people worldwide. Padel is doubles only and played outdoors and indoors.

THE COURT
A padel court is smaller than a tennis court (10m x 20m) and is surrounded by glass walls and steel fence (3m and 4m high). A maximum of 3 Padel courts can be built on an existing tennis court.
At Game4Padel we provide courts connected to an online booking system and accessible via a PIN code.

THE RULES
The similarities to tennis are the presence of a net, the scoring system and the balls (slightly softer). Padel bats are small so easier to manoeuvre than tennis rackets. The ball has to bounce once before it can hit the walls or the fence. The serve is always played underarm with a bounce.

PADEL IN EUROPE
Over the course of the past 13 years, Padel has begun to spread rapidly to the rest of Europe with over 4000 venues in 27 countries.
There are currently 31 Padel clubs and accommodations with courts in the UK with a total of 60 courts.
The British Padel Federation gives support to all venues in the UK as well as running the British Padel Tour and a coach education programme.

PADEL WORLDWIDE
Padel is now a worldwide sport governed by FIP, the International Padel Federation, and operates in almost 40 countries across 5 continents.
The World Padel Tour is the official professional circuit with players coming from 17 different countries.
Tournaments are mainly played in Spain and in South America, however the WPT is now expanding to other European countries and will be in London from the 15th to 20th October.
